- What is the purpose of this study?
- Has the new treatment been tested before? If so, what are the results?
- How will I know if the treatment is helping me?
- What are the possible risks, side effects and benefits of taking part in the study?
- How long will they last?
- What is likely to happen in my case with, or without, this new research treatment?
- Where will the treatment take place?
- Will my medical records be kept confidential?
- How will teh study affect my daily life?
- Will insurance cover the costs of tests and treatment?
